From Level 1 till Zouk Atoms Teacher Certification: Become an atomic dancer step by step

We have structured the teachings of the Zouk Atoms in a comprehensive program of 5 weeks, 30 hours each. A week-long immersion gives you the ideal setting to learn and deepen your zouk technique. If you want to progress in your zouk journey, this is one of the most rewarding investments you can do in yourself!

These are the six modules of the program:

• The Level 1: This is our entry level that you need to complete (in Bremen or offline) in order to access to the other three modules. This module is about to understand the principles of the system to move yourself comfortable inside of it. Lots of footwork and head movements every day! The Level 1 is required to access the Level 2.
• The Level 2 Position F: This module focuses mostly on the atoms that move forward. You will discover new possibilities that got unlocked thanks to the system.
• The Level 2 Position B: This module focuses mostly on the atoms moving backwards. You can check in this demo, how a dance with atoms backwards can look: Atomic Demo- Atoms Week Level 2 Position B
• The Level 2 Position S: This module focuses mostly on the atoms moving sideways. We will do this module for the first time in summer 2025.
• The Level 3 - The Shadow Position: Everything changes when you change the point of view! With this module leaders will become unpredictable and followers universal and ready to move in any direction. At least two Level 2 modules are required to access the Level 3.
• The Level 3 - Squares & Contrast: If you have been following the Zouk Atoms so far, you already know the versatility and incredible possibilities of dancing within a square structure. By playing with contrast, we mean combining atoms in ways where the starting and ending positions do not match. These combinations create a real challenge for both leading and following! At least two Level 2 modules are required to access the Level 3.

Why should you follow this comprehensive program? Because you will get an unique insight about the inner structure of the Zouk Basics. This will make you create more and have more fun as a leader and as a follower you will improve your technique to be able to move in any direction even dancing head movements. We, Olga and Fernando, are local teachers, able to adapt to your needs and give you very pragmatical information to continue moving forward in your dance.
